Hi Packhouse family! Here is August news & updates...


Staff Update
Most of our staff are back although there is still some of that awful flu lingering. Lisa our Baker has returned from Rarotonga and is chomping at the bit to get back to her sourdough starter. Yay!! Fresh weekly bread again from this weekend.




New Pastry Item – Ginger Crunch Twist


If you’re a Ginger lover, then you will adore these!!  Ginger crunch, our special crystalised ginger, peanuts and custard.


Frozen Meals In Stock


A range of our frozen meals are in stock and ready for you to heat up. Easy peasy dinner and really delicious. Available for purchase from the Café (and coming soon online. We are just fixing a few bugs).

– Open Wed – Sunday – see our full range of home-made
sausages GF & preservative free, delicious steaks, plus a large range of salamis and beer sticks from Cured NZ, and venison salamis and beer sticks from Wild Hinds (Stonewall Game Butchery) just north of Kamo.

We love having the boys from Vanuatu play at the Market. Great energy and sounds.

Side stage: Noah McBirney From Pukenui and a student at Kaitaia College, Noah has been singing since he could walk, and walking since he could talk. He is very passionate about music, especially vocals!

Sunday 31st August
Front stage: Catatonic - Nick Scott & Cat Logan

Nick is an acoustic guitarist and has been playing for many years.
What began at school as classical turned into a technique thats a bit hard to explain... a combination of fingerstyle and strumming, almost giving the effect of having two guitars in one. Nick plays solo and also duo with talented female vocalist Cat Logan.
