Packhouse Frozen Meals... & This Week's Events

Hello Packhouse Family! Just a quick update to let you know what’s happening here during the week of Monday 24th - 30th June...

Packhouse Frozen Meals
We’ re so proud to start a new venture from our kitchen! Packhouse Frozen Meals – all ready for you to heat and eat. Yes, take a break from the kitchen!

Starting with Lasagne this week, then introducing a vegetarian option, and more options as we progress.

The price for the Lasagne will be $19.50 which feeds two people.

Available from today from our on-line shop. Click here.

Welcome Back Annie. Get Well Soon Birgit
Like many adult families, our members come and go, and often come back again!
Annie our Kitchen Manager/Pastry Chef has returned from Germany – back to kitchen chaos and camaraderie, of which we have plenty in our back of house.

Sadly, our kitchenhand Birgit has now caught the flu, so she hasn’t been here for a while - if you’ve been missing our Linzer Tart, that’s the reason why.

Power Outage
We were happy to stay open on the dreadful “power outage” day last week.
We boiled water on our fireplaces, and made instant coffee, tea and hot chocolates.
We had plenty of food and warmth from the fires, so all in all not a total disaster (but almost!)

Friday Night Sip & Swing Social
And what a success it was!  Thanks to all of you who graced this fun event. Special mention to the Whangarei Swing Club led by Lynda & David who came in full swing with carloads of dancers. And also kudos to the local Kerikeri dance teachers Nikki, Mercedes & Leona., who had their students dancing the night away.

Watch this space for the next Swing Social!
